The Zero Waste Maker had its beginning in January 2018, created by Oktavia who is a costume maker by day. She made it her mission to source unwanted fabrics that would have been destined to go to landfill.

It is our firm believe here at The Zero Waste Maker, that fabric is a beautiful and valuable resource that deserves to be used to its fullest potential possible. Therefore we recycle any fabric we get, made from various different fibres to ensure there is no unnecessary fabric waste. Aesthetic and thoughtful design are of great importance to make every product beautiful and a joy to use and more importantly to RE-use.

We also make products from organic cotton to provide piece of mind for our customers with sensitive skin and other needs.

 

Living naturally and sustainably has become a key part in our private life. As a result we started the 'Naturally Beautiful' beauty brand, to fill the need for simple, organic and vegan cosmetics. Our skin is our biggest organ and we believe it is most important what we decide to apply onto it. Nature has everything we need already, which is why in our products you only find raw and organic ingredients that haven't gone through any bleaching or artificial processing. Everything we make is handmade in Nottingham, UK, ensuring every supplier we work with is as local as possible, ethical, and in recyclable packaging. This applies to our own product packaging and shipping materials as well.

 

We are currently a small team of 4, working passionately on our mission to help you on your sustainable journey. Our Team consists of  Oktavia, the founder and maker Ruben her husband who helps with shipping and customer service And two sessional staff members who help with packaging and product preparation.
