EXFOLIATE your skin | Recipe

Exfoliation is the removal of dry/dead skin cells on the surface of the skin and is one of the most important aspects of your home skincare routine for face and body.
Exfoliation not only helps many skin problems, it also increases blood circulation, which in turn helps you to achieve healthy and glowing skin.
If you suffer from clogged pores, exfoliation helps to draw out congestion, otherwise known as blackheads and whiteheads. Most common areas for breakouts are the nose, chin and forehead.
I exfoliate my skin 3 times a week. At least. But the recommended amount is twice a week.
This really is the best zero waste recipe I know of personally. We drink so so much coffee in our house. So we end up with so many coffee grounds. One of the uses we found for it is this body / face scrub. The recipe is very easy, and chances are you have all the ingredients already at home.
How to make it
1 part Coconut oil or shea butter
1 part coffee grounds
1 part sugar
Now whether you use coconut oil or shea butter depends on your skin type. I get spots quickly, so thats why I use shea butter as it is not as comedogenic as coconut oil.
